    POSITION DUTIES

    In order for RICA-Baltimore to\r
    maintain a family-driven, youth guided program this position analyzes clinical data and writes\r
    reports.\r

    Job duties include providing individual, group and family therapy, clinical\r
    case management, psychological evaluations or updates, and clinical advice and\r
    support to a caseload of up to three adolescents in a residential or day treatment\r
    center for emotionally disturbed adolescents. This position requires someone\r
    who demonstrates specific expertise in understanding the symptoms and\r
    treatments for clients with diagnoses which are typically seen in emotionally\r
    disturbed adolescents. This position requires someone who can work effectively\r
    with a treatment team made up of nursing/residential, educational and\r
    rehabilitation staff as well as social workers, psychologists and\r
    psychiatrists.� The incumbent of this\r
    position must also be able to generate the extensive documentation such as\r
    treatment plans, progress notes and reports required in a contemporary mental\r
    health context.\r

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    Education:� Determined by the Maryland State Board of Examiners of Psychologists under the licensing requirements for Psychologists.\r
    Experience: Determined by the Maryland State Board of Examiners of Psychologists under the licensing requirements for Psychologists. \r

    LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS

    1.�Candidates for this classification must be licensed as a Psychologist by the��Maryland Board of Examiners of Psychologists prior to permanent appointment�to a position.� Applicants who do not have a Maryland license may apply�before receipt of the required license but the application will be designated in�pending status by the Maryland Department of Health (MDH) Testing Unit. �When the license has been obtained, submit a copy of the license to MDH to�remove the pending status from the application.\r
    2.�Employees in this classification may be assigned duties that require operation�of a motor vehicle.� Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess�a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland.\r
