Job Summary
The Project Policy Analyst learn to apply program and project management concepts with limited scope and complexity to address a variety of program, policy, and research topic areas across the Healthforce Center at UCSF – having the opportunity to interface with program, policy, and research activities across the Center. Will assist in analyzing issues and problems, by gathering data and information and synthesizing solutions that support respective program and project objectives.
This position is an entry-level position responsible for literature/content searches, identifying resources and information through web searches, data entry, and drafting meeting notes, reviewing and formatting written reports and papers. The incumbent will participate in program meetings with internal and external partners in in-person settings or via teleconference. The incumbent will learn and develop analytical, program, project management competencies to advance in the PPA series.
This position is a 1 year contract position from the date of hire.

Please note: The compensation ranges listed online for roles not covered by a bargaining unit agreement are very wide, however a job offer will typically fall in the range of 80% – 120% of the established mid-point. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.
For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.
