    Description
    Responsibilities / TasksThe Reach Truck Material Handler is responsible for the loading and unloading of materials within a warehouse.

    Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within the storage facility.

    Records flow information of materials and products and ensures the accuracy. May assist in the training of lower-level material handlers.


    Responsibilities:
    Have a Safety 1st mindsetOperate various types of material handling equipment including a Reach Truck, Electric Pallet Jack, High-Lift and ForkliftsUnload and receive shipments from suppliers while verifying order accuracyPick and stage orders for outbound shipmentsCheck outbound orders for accuracyLoad trailers with product for deliveryPerform miscellaneous general warehouse duties as necessary
    Required Skills:3+ years of Reach Truck experienceRF Scanner, WMS or SAP experienceAbility to read and write EnglishGood math skillsExperience with handling chemicals a plus

    Physical Requirements:
    Standing for extended periods of time, bending and lifting up to 50lbsEducationHigh school diploma, GED or equivalentYour Profile / Qualifications3+ years of Reach Truck experienceRF Scanner, WMS or SAP experienceAbility to read and write EnglishGood math skillsExperience with handling chemicals a plusWorking at GEA Group has significant benefits11 Paid HolidaysPTO
