    We are seeking a dynamic candidate to join the Primary Health Solutions team as a Bilingual School Based Navigator at our Administration office.

    A day in the life of a Bilingual School Based Navigator:

    Uses knowledge of student's cultural, ethnic, religious and social system to develop rapport.
    Works to ensure that school – based consents and registrations are complete.
    Coordinate immunization clinics for each school.
    Coordinate vision and dental screenings for each school.
    Promotes positive interpersonal (customer) relationships with fellow employees, providers, patients and school staff.

    Ensures confidentiality of patient information by creating and maintaining a secure and trusting environment by not sharing information learned on the job, except when necessary in the performance of the job responsibilities or to improve a patient's care.

    Maintains pertinent databases.

    Understand and communicate effectively with others using a variety of contexts and formats, which include writing, speaking, reading listening and interpersonal skills.

    Is attentive to detail and accuracy, is committed to excellence, looks for improvements continuously, monitors quality levels, finds root cause of quality problems, owns/acts on quality problems.

    Manages a fair workload, volunteers for additional work, prioritizes tasks, develops good work procedures, manages time well, and handles information flow.

    Ability to speak Spanish is highly preferred.
    Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
    Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
    Knowledge of current practice management system, electronic medical record, Microsoft Word, Internet, and Intranet. Must also be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
