- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with safety protocols, building codes, and regulations. - Equipment and Systems Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment such as boilers, HVAC systems, elevators, and fire safety systems. - Guest Satisfaction: Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints related to maintenance issues. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that guest concerns are addressed and resolved to their satisfaction.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other hotel departments, including housekeeping and the front desk, to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure minimal disruption to guests. Communicate effectively with hotel management and colleagues regarding maintenance needs, progress, and potential issues.
- Budget Management: Assist in maintaining an inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment. Provide input and recommendations for budget planning and control related to maintenance activities. Identify cost-effective solutions and suppliers while maintaining quality standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in a relevant field is preferred.
- Proven experience in general maintenance or a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair techniques.
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
