    Job Summary


    Together with other members of the Finance team, support budgeting, forecasting, financial performance monitoring and analysis, and financial modeling for assigned division(s).

    Core Job Responsibilities


    Budget and forecasts:
    In conjunction with Senior/Lead Financial Analyst(s) and business partners, develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
    Provide trend analysis and other data to inform, corroborate, and help assess reasonableness and relevance of financial assumptions

    Monthly reporting and analysis:
    Support Senior/Lead Financial Analysts, Director, FP&A, and business partners with timely, relevant, and accurate analysis; help identify trends and recommend actions
    Review monthly income statement details to ensure that revenues and expenses are booked correctly

    Financial modeling and analysis:
    Update, maintain, and help improve financial models
    Assist with updating presentations, reports, and/or dashboards for senior management, Finance Committee, and the Board of Governors
    Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the department

    Ability to effectively partner with business stakeholders and finance team members

    Professional:
    Strong analytical (quantitative as well as qualitative) skills, including ability to conduct research, organize, analyze, interpret, and validate data
    Strong accounting and financial knowledge, including understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and relevant business environment
    Demonstrated ability to organize work to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
    Ability to influence without authority and inspire trust and credibility

    Technical:
    Intermediate/advanced Excel skills, proficiency with other Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint)
    Experience with accessing, extracting, and interpreting financial and operations data from an ERP system
    Ability and interest to learn new software tools

    Education / Experience


    Education:
    Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or similar field from an accredited college/university

    Experience:
    2-4 years of relevant work experience
