    What You'll Do as a Day Program Instructor CaregiverYou will play a key role in promoting daily living skills, vocational skills, independence, and active engagement.


    Your responsibilities include:
    Developing and following daily activity routines based on each client's Individual Program Plan (IPP)Assisting with personal care, bathroom needs, and changing undergarments/clothing when neededPreparing meals and participating in cleanupSupporting clients in daily living, vocational, recreational, and community activitiesProviding transportation in company vans as neededParticipating in client assessments, planning, and evaluationEntering client notes into computer systems and reviewing IPP goalsCommunicating with supervisors about client progressAttending staff meetings, trainings, and professional developmentPerforming additional related duties as assignedEvery day, you'll help individuals gain confidence, socialize, and reach meaningful goals

    Schedule & CompensationPay Rate:
    $18.00 – $19.00 per hourShift: Full-Time, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Monday - FridayLocation: West Covina, CA

    Preferred:
    1 year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilitiesMust be 21 years of ageValid California Driver's License a mustMust pass all pre-employment screenings (background check, etc.)

    Preferred:
    DSP Year 1 & Year 2 Certificates

    Preferred:
    CPI certification

    Preferred:

    First Aid / CPR CertificationApplicants may obtain DSP or CPI certifications within the first 6 months if not already completed.
