    Job Title Engineer, Sr Sys Microsoft Cloud.

    E Location Virginia Beach, VA, US Organization Name IT Operations Work Schedule and Other Information Core business hours 8am -5pm.

    Onsite work, Hybrid work available after 6 months.

    Brief Description Under broad guidance, the Senior Microsoft Cloud Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying and managing cloud-based infrastructure in the HRSD Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

    Serves as the expert in Microsoft Purview for data governance, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Center, Endpoint Management (Intune), and other Microsoft enterprise technologies that meet HRSD business needs, goals and objectives.

    Communicates HRSD's Mission, Vision and Values; provides long-term vision, strategic planning and implementation of innovative programs to continually improve HRSD performance.

    Job Requirements
    Education
    Required


    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent
    experience).


    • Education equivalency equals two years of directly related professional experience for every
    year of education not completed. The stated experience is in addition to any experience used to
    meet the education equivalency.
    Experience
    Required


    • Minimum 5 years of Azure cloud administration experience both with cloud services and data
    management.


    • Proven experience managing SaaS-specific cloud systems (i.e., experience with multi-tenancy,
    auto-scaling, and zero-downtime deployments).


    • Proven experience managing and supporting a ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira,
    Trackit).


    • Relevant certifications such as

    Microsoft Certified:
    Azure Administrator Associate, or
    equivalent. Desired


    • Microsoft 365 administration
    Licenses and Certifications Requirements
    Required


    • One or more of the following certifications, to be obtained within the first six months of

    employment:


    • Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Associate

    • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate

    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
    • Valid driver's license from state of residence
