Dykema's Intellectual Property Group seeks a Trademark Associate with 2–5 years of experience for any one of our offices in Texas, Michigan, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Los Angeles and Washington, DC. Please indicate your office of interest in the cover letter. Qualified candidates should have a minimum of two years of law firm experience focused on trademark prosecution and counseling, including clearance searches, trademark application preparation and prosecution, and maintenance of domestic and international trademark portfolios. Experience working at the Trademark Office is also preferred. Experience advising clients on trademark enforcement, infringement, and brand protection strategies is preferred. The work may also include counseling clients on related intellectual property matters, including copyright and unfair competition issues. Excellent written and oral advocacy skills are required, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines efficiently. Must be admitted to at least one state bar. For applicants in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C., the expected salary range for this position is $170,000 to $195,000, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
