Designs and develops software with technical tools -- Java, Python, Docker, and Kubernetes, in an Agile environment. Develops and builds the underlying software security platform for the company. Simplifies the security process with software automation and creates a robust platform for the company. Engages in Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) including requirements, development, deployment, testing, monitoring, and operations. Simplifies the security process with automation and creates a robust platform for the enterprise leveraging Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery methodologies. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.
• Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.
• Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.
• Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.
• Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.
• Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.
• Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.
• Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.
• Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.
• Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/ Developer (or closely related occupation) performing software development for retail investment product applications.

Or, alternatively, Master s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/ Developer (or closely related occupation) performing software development for retail investment product applications.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

• Demonstrated Expertise (\u201CDE\u201D) performing Object-Oriented design and Java Web application development, using Java/J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Jersey, SOAP, RESTful Web Services, and LWC; and developing micro-services architecture using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• DE maintaining the Web security of applications and distributed caching using Ignite/Hazelcast and Cloud Elasticaches (Amazon Web Services (AWS) Redis to be consumed by APIs); and producing data results, using Web security technologies (OAuth Encrypted Key Management, Applications Secrets Management, and SAML), AWS KMS, and AWS Crypto to improve security.
• DE integrating build processes according to Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), using Jenkins as a CI platform and Urban Deploy as a CD platform; and deploying REST microservice applications in AWS using Cloud Formation Template (CFT).
• DE developing applications in a test driven development using testing frameworks Mocha, Selenium, Jasmine and Karma; building application components with front end development processes using Grunt and Gulp; and integrating software with CI and CD processes using Jenkins as a CI platform.
