    Job DescriptionHours of Job
    • FT - 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
    • Scheduled 80 hours every 2 weeks
    Duties and Key Responsibilities
    • Acts as the focus of communication regarding all staff, physicians, patient care activities, family, and visitor requests.
    • Assists in coordination in care of departmental equipment/forms/materials and/or supplies.
    • Answers telephones in a polite manner and routes telephone messages appropriately.
    • Interacts and coordinates appropriate scheduling of patients, and interdepartmental activities.
    • Organizes and maintains files, fills out forms and otherwise relieves staff of clerical work and minor business detail.
    • Performs clerical duties which may include statistical reports, policy and procedures, QI, and patient accounts.
    Requirements
    • Must have an acceptable driving record based on Motor Vehicle Report results per our Fleet/Vehicle Safety policy.
    • Good interpersonal skills in dealing with patients, families, and co-workers.
    • Demonstrate good verbal skills to communicate clearly and tactfully as well as demonstrate an outgoing and courteous manner.
    Education/Certifications
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Must have general educational development, such as that associated with respect to reading and mathematical skills as it pertains to office procedures.
    Experience
    • No previous experience is required but is preferred.
