Job Opportunity: School-Based Occupational Therapist (Contract)

Location: Yuma, Arizona

Are you a dedicated Occupational Therapist seeking a contract position in Yuma, Arizona, for the upcoming school year? Soliant and its affiliates are proud to partner with school districts in the area to provide essential therapy services to students. We are currently seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet students' specific needs and goals.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings, both in-person and/or via teletherapy.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other members of the school team to support students' academic and functional success.
• Monitor and document students' progress, and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and other multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute to students' educational programs.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Arizona.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
• Knowledge of educational laws, regulations, and best practices related to the provision of therapy services in schools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
