    Supply Planner

    Chicago, IL Onsite from Day1

    Contract

    Responsibilities


    • Responsible for maintaining production schedules and capacity plan to ensure on-time delivery, cost objective and avoid material shortage
    • Maintain well-defined working relationships and communications with manufacturing and key suppliers to confirm scheduling and capacity analysis
    • Responsible for inventory management, inventory location replenishment, SKU planning, and risk assessment, and mitigation planning
    • Initiate and lead supply planning discussion during capacity-constrained periods.
    • Interact with demand planning and operations teams to balance the supply network
    • Build planning processes for project improvements
    • Support new product introduction in conjunction with sales
    • Responsible for critical metric objectives – waste management, inventory weeks of supply, and case fill rate
    • Lead inventory variances (Quarterly and yearly)
    • Complete special projects and assignments as requested
    Minimum qualifications


    • Demonstrate an understanding of supply chain cycle, Manufacturing, organization structures, and performance measures
    • Demonstrates problem-solving skills and working under timelines; multi-tasking abilities; exception-based management capability
    • Bachelor Degree in related fields (Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related subject area)
    • Ability to balance priorities across multiple internal and external partners
    • Ability to interact and build relations with senior management and key partners
    • Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in a multicultural environment
    Preferred qualifications


    • APICS affiliation and/or certification
    • SAP, OMP or other ERP/APS software experience
    • Effective interpersonal and verbal/oral skills
    • Self-starter with independent work ethic and react quickly to priorities.
