    Conexon is a rapidly growing company working with Rural Electric Cooperatives to build advanced fiber to the home (FTTH) networks nationwide.

    We are currently looking for a Supervisor of Engineering and Line Construction to join the Construction Management team.

    We are looking for qualified candidates for onsite supervision of engineering and line construction over multiple regional projects that have experience in all facets of constructing a FTTH network.

    This candidate should have experience with FTTX, FTTH, FTTP, Fiber, telecommunications or broadband projects. This candidate should also have a strong understanding of the process to make the poles ready for fiber attachments.

    This candidate must be organized and have good written and verbal communication skills to communicate with clients, cooperative members, and co-workers.


    Requirements:

    Required Skills:

    Scheduling with timeline production and tracking for make ready engineering and constructionMake ready evaluation and proposed solutionsUnderstanding of RUS electric unitsUnderstanding of FTTH plant design Evaluation of utility attachments Completion of ROW permitting Inspection of make ready construction and quality control.

    Ensure plant is ready for fiber optic attachmentsCost control for the client and ConexonUnderstanding of NESC standardsProduction verification and invoice reconciliation with production Microsoft Office SuiteWeekly status reportingPossible work within cooperative staking software packages is possible.

    General duties:
    Promote and represent Conexon in a positive manner with client and contractors Participation in weekly client conference callsAssist in promotion and sales of Conexon servicesParticipation in weekly client conference calls Evaluate and advise on FTTH construction techniquesThis does not mean that the supervisor must perform all of these tasks, but the applicant will manage these areas of responsibility
