Job DescriptionA client of Insight Global is seeking an Acoustics Engineer to join their Modeling and Simulation team in Houston, TX.
This person will develop acoustics analysis models to perform simulations to predict acoustics solutions and designs.They will use strong engineering judgment to apply and adapt model/simulation approaches, and present modeling analysis and simulation results to the team and program.
Lastly, they will work with the lab to conduct an analysis of test results, translate the models into prototypes, and provide mentorship and training around the technical aspects of the project.

Skills and Requirements
7+ years of experience in acoustics modeling and simulations
Master's degree in engineering applied physics, or related
Experience conducting high-fidelity acoustic modeling with commercial tools (VA-One, Wave6, ANSYS Acoustics, COMSOL)
Room acoustics, transmission loss/absorption analysis of solutions and materials, vibro-acoustics, and fluid-inducted vibration experience Aerospace experience
PhD in engineering null
