Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits is looking for a Staff Accountant to handle monthly review and reconciliation of General Ledger Accounts, prepare monthly supplier bank reconciliations, assist with month-end financial report closing and analysis, quarterly corporate reporting needs, ad hoc division reporting, and maintain, process for payment and bill back, analyze and track all incentive and sales commission programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Complete monthly reconciliations of approximately 40+ GL accounts and review monthly BSG reconciliations for necessary items
Analyze sales expense reports versus budget
Compile and distribute financial statements and various financial reports monthly
Analyze Monthly GL expenses versus prior year and identify causes of fluctuations for the Executive team
Reconcile and review gross profit general ledger postings, prepare monthly Executive team expense reconciliations, and monthly Juice Department P&L
Prepare monthly M&E reports for distribution and analyze Bonus/Incentive Payment versus Bill-back and accruals in GL
Review and reconcile bank deposit cash postings, prepare and post journal entries as needed, and track all incentive program payments/submissions to avoid duplication
Process incentives for payout, submit to payroll for payment, recap incentive payouts to each team member, and process bill backs to suppliers for incentive programs
Prepare analysis reports as needed for management and process monthly revenue, PST, and commission payouts

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required

Intermediate Excel proficiency required (testing will be part of the interview process)
