    Essential Job Responsibilities:
    1. Handles the administration of student training program and accreditation. Prepares for accreditation, reviews and site visits. Coordinates orientations, for students and faculty. Compiles and submits reports to required committees, boards and organizations. Assists in preparation of contracts. Filters and answers inquiries from present and past trainees.
    2. Manages budget accounts for program, submits requests for business-related purchases, secures best pricing through external vendors, reconciles ledgers/statements, and expenditures of money.
    3. Coordinates departmental student functions. Maintains schedules of student activities, rotation assignments, learning sessions, tracks and reports student's grades. Creates appointments, meetings, lunches and conferences.
    4. May proctor and administer student examinations, orders examination materials, and processes materials.
    5. Compiles all student training verification request forms for program director's approval and assists in letters of recommendations for current and past trainees.
    6. Acts as liaison between faculty, staff, and students.
    7. Addresses problems involving policy interpretation related to interoffice procedure and student concerns.
    8. Prepares and initiates routine and non-routine correspondence, memoranda, and reports, enters data in database(s) program. Coordinates travel arrangements, lodging, food services, processes travel vouchers, schedules meetings, appointments and coordinates luncheons.
    9. Assists in recruitment of clinical faculty of ambulatory rotation sites. Coordinates student academic sessions, rotation assignments, material preparation and evaluations.
    10. Provides comprehensive information to physicians regarding student assignments and rotation.
    11. Supports clerkship director in implementing changes in curriculum.
    12. Supports and tracks student scholarly projects
    13. Other duties as assigned.

    Education/Certifications: 2 years of post-secondary education and 3 years of related work experience or high school diploma/GED and 5 years of related work experience required.

    Experience: Minimum 3 years of administrative experience required; experience in medical education preferred.
