    This position is for the full academic year, open only to enrolled upperclassmen.

    Expected hours of work per week: 5-15 hours per week

    Work Location & Hours: Carter 138; 8am-4:30pm

    • Teamwork skills - working together effectively and sharing ideas and responsibilities with the other student workers to complete projects in a timely manner.
    • Communication - develop or enhance your ability to clearly and effectively exchange information, ideas, and facts with persons inside or outside the Covenant community via email, in person, or by phone.
    • Technology - Enhance or develop skills with Canva to create advertisements for Student Development events, with Excel or Sheets documents, and with Campaign, the Covenant online newsletter.
    • Professionalism - Taking ownership of the office and store room by keeping it organized and clean.
    Expected Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Post and/or create advertisements, flyers, and other advertising materials for Student Development related events.
    • Help compile information for the Family Newsletters.
    • Help with the planning and execution of departmental projects, events, and programs (Student Life Breaks, Spring Fling, etc.)
    • Help with the organization of the Student Development Office and storage room and keep it clean.
    • Help with communication to and from the office by answering the phone, replying to emails, sending email blasts as instructed by Student Development Staff.
    • Be respectful to students coming into the office for meetings with Student Development Staff by not discussing their reason for being in the office and keep the matters of the office confidential.
    • Be a resource to students and visitors who may have questions about Student Development or student life.
    • Regularly check campus bulletin boards to make sure they are organized and up to date.
    • Provide golf cart rides for injured or ill students.
