Description

We are looking for a DevOps engineer who knows Docker inside and out. They will be responsible for defining and implementing containerization technology strategies. The candidate will work on building, scaling, and monitoring various highly complex applications, and making container orchestration clusters highly available.

The candidate must be an expert in Docker and containerization technologies. They must know container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and logging/monitoring tools for these orchestration tools. They will also be responsible for building and improving application CI/CD pipelines and keeping themselves and their team up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Responsibilities-

Build and maintain highly available systems on Kubernetes.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines.
Implement an auto-scaling system for our Kubernetes nodes.
Implement and improve monitoring and alerting.

Skills and Qualifications-

Experience in administering Linux-based systems.
Experience working with Apache Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, and Zookeeper.
Experience with Elastic Search, Redis, Logstash, Kibana.
Kubernetes and Docker Experience including associated sub-components i.e. Docker Registry, etc. and configuration for managing database & tools like Hadoop, Cassandra, Kafka, Logstash, Kiban, a, etc.
Experience with cloud development using Amazon, Google, Azure, or private cloud
Knowledge of networks, rest services, and database security standards
Experience writing various custom Ansible Playbooks and modules for Deployment Orchestration.
Experience in application development, debugging, implementation, supporting the dev team.
Experience writing build scripts with tools like Ant and Maven and Gradle.
Experience in Configuring and Administering Repository Managers like Nexus, Artifactory.
Extensive experience in configuration, deployment automation with various App Servers like Oracle WebLogic, Web Sphere, JBoss, Webservers like Apache, ToClientat, and more modern Web Containers like Nginx, etc.
Knowledge of databases like MySQL, Oracle 10g/11g, MSSQL, MongoDB, Dynamo DB, PostgreSQL.
Experience in setting up Baselines, Branching, Patches, Merging, and Automation processes using Shell/bash and Batch Scripts.
Experience with Build Management tools Ant and Maven for writing build. XML and
Strong analytical, diagnostics, troubleshooting skills to consistently deliver productive technological solutions.
Experience in using bug tracking systems like JIRA.
