- Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of civil engineering projects.
- Conduct site visits and field investigations to gather data and assess project conditions.
- Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Perform calculations and analyses for design projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative and effective solutions.
- Participate in project meetings and coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and government agencies.
- Support the preparation of cost estimates and project schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of environmental and permit applications.
- Ensure quality control and quality assurance on all project deliverables.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
