    SPECIFIC
    • Proactively improve safety in the plant to achieve the plant goal of 0 accidents
    • Facilitate and develop topics for communication at daily safety and area meetings
    • Champion timely resolution of all safety concerns and/or near misses
    • Work with maintenance to ensure equipment has proper PM and is safe to operate
    • Enforce area and plant safety procedures
    • Work closely with quality area to create and maintain systems that ensure quality products
    • Support teammates in their efforts to consistently exceed customer expectations
    • Communicate potential quality concerns and maintain customer and TS requirements
    • Enforce area and plant quality procedures, and monitor and track quality activities for the production area
    • Coordinate and oversee rotation of production activities in the area to ensure line efficiency and customers' needs are met
    • Monitor standardized work is being followed
    • Plan changeovers to minimize disruption of production
    • Actively encourage participation in the idea program by effectively resolving and implementing teammates' ideas
    • Identify training opportunities to develop and maintain a highly motivated and capable team
    • Lead efforts to reduce cost and improve efficiency to meet planned/plant objectives
    • Conduct training for teammates
    • Gather information and auditing of daily reports
    • Additional responsibilities as required - this position is subject to change as the needs of the department change
    Academic and Experience
    • Two years of post-high school education preferred
    • A combination of education and manufacturing experience required
    • Participation in a significant role on the MOS, either deploying a practice, training in a tool or methodology, leading problem-solving, or other applied leadership experience.
    • 2-4 years of leadership experience required
