    This role offers a hybrid work option, meaning you can both work from home and commute to a LinkedIn office (preferred Sunnyvale / MV), depending on what's best for you and when it is important for your team to be together.

    LinkedIn Marketing Solutions (LMS) has a solid growth trajectory and has been rapidly gaining market share.

    A key part of our roadmap is to enable secure and private data collaboration with our advertisers and partners to power measurement and activation use cases that uncover insights that help them understand their customer's behavior and continue to drive higher customer engagement through increased investment with LinkedIn's marketing solutions.

    A solution that provides this secure collaboration functionality is referred to as a Data Clean Room.

    The Clean Room team's mission is to build / or integrate with a best in class platform that enables this collaboration, while being compliant, safeguarding confidentiality of customer's data and preserving privacy of the users.

    We have an exciting and ambitious product roadmap that will make us the gold standard in the B2B marketing world.

    You will have the opportunity to lead a team that works with multiple business partners from product, marketing, business development and R&D teams to define, plan, and execute on mission critical initiatives that directly impact advertising revenue.


    Responsibilities:

    • You will scale distributed applications, make architectural trade-offs applying synchronous and asynchronous design patterns, write code, and deliver with speediness and quality.
    • You will develop multi-tier scalable, high-volume performing, and reliable user-centric applications that operate 24x7.
    • You will produce high quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration.
    • You will partner with peers, leads and partners to provide technical leadership, driving and performing best engineering practices to initiate, plan, and execute large-scale, cross functional, and company-wide critical programs. Identify, leverage, and successfully evangelize opportunities to improve engineering productivity.

    Specialized Skills required for this Job:

    • Cloud Infrastructure - AWS, GCP or Azure
    • Big Data - ETL
    • Performance Optimization and Scalability
    • Experience with storage containers, IAM roles and policies

    Basic Qualifications:

    • BS (or higher, e.g., MS, or PhD) in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent technical experience.
    • 2+ years industry experience in software design, development, and algorithm related solutions.
    • 2+ years experience programming in object-oriented languages such as Java, C++, Python, Spark, Go, C# and/or Functional languages such as Scala or other relevant coding languages

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • BS and 5+ years of relevant work experience, MS and 4+ years of relevant work experience, or PhD and 2+ years of relevant work experience
    • Experience with Hadoop (or similar) Ecosystem (MapReduce, Yarn, HDFS, Hive, Presto)
    • Experience with industry, open-source projects and/or academic research in data management, relational databases, and/or large-data, parallel and distributed systems
    • Experience with open-source project management and governance
    • Designing and implementing secure cloud infrastructure using Azure services to support scalable and reliable software deployment
    • Automating and optimizing continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for system provisioning and application deployment
    • Managing source code repositories and branching strategies to maintain code quality and facilitate collaboration among developers
    • Monitoring and ensuring the performance, availability, and scalability of applications and environments in Azure
    • Implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform
    • Collaborating with development teams to identify and resolve build or deployment issues and streamline development workflows
    • Configuring and managing Azure DevOps services, such as Azure Boards, Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, and Azure Artifacts
    • Enforcing security best practices and compliance policies to protect the infrastructure and data within the Azure cloud
    • Facilitating the creation and maintenance of automated testing frameworks to improve software quality and reliability
    • Conducting system troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains
    • Staying current with the latest Azure features and DevOps trends to drive innovation and efficiency within the organization
    • Providing guidance and mentoring to development teams on DevOps principles and best practices in the Azure ecosystem
    • Expert knowledge of computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
    • Experience with relational databases (transactional and non-transactional), database architecture, and distributed transaction management.

    LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $117,000 - $192,000.

    Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.

    This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.

    The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans
