    Railhead is seeking multiple Junior Knowledge Managers to join the team in Reston, Virginia.

    Railhead provides operational and analytical support to DIA's Defense Combating Terrorism Office to drive DoD policy, planning, and operational decisions to counter regional and transnational terrorism threats.

    We conduct mission-critical counterterrorism analysis focused on operational and strategic effects against emerging terrorist threat networks and identities operating globally with intent to harm U.S.

    persons, facilities, and interests.


    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Assist aligning processes and technology to enable information sharing by analysts and organizations for analytic production. Uses centralized and peripheral databases, content management records management systems and shapes workflow and processes.
    • Compiles reports on performance and usage metrics and future requirements for existing knowledge management capabilities including, but not limited to, search, discovery, storage and retrieval of data and formal production and taskings. Disseminates intelligence products across separate networks and portals.
    • Provide a full range of intelligence and administrative support to personnel involved in a variety of intelligence disciplines (i.e., analysis, collection, planning mission management, research, operations, etc.).
    • Support analytic divisions through arranging video teleconferences, travel, and training.
    • Provide recordkeeping in accordance with all regulations, procedures, and protocols of the agency.
    • Support the staff director within processing and out processing of Contractors as well as support the security officer with day-to-day security processing.
    • Support DCTC' s training function through maintenance of training requirements, training records, training class schedules in accordance with all DIA regulations procedures and protocols.
    • Provides a full range of intelligence and administrative support to assist analysts.

    Activities include, but are not limited to:
    o Building and maintaining databases
    o Monitor intelligence
    o Assists with administration and management of RFls
    o Produces metrics
    o Provides cross-domain data transfer and intelligence dissemination support
    o System-high to -low transfers between JWICS, SIPRNet, NIPRNet, and other U.S. and Allied / Partner systems.
    o Produces metrics, graphics, and briefings as required to support production management and mission management functions.


    • Assist the organization with aligning processes and technology to enable information sharing amongst analysts and organizations to enhance analytic production. Provide training on various analytic tools as needed.
    • Capture, facilitate, clarify, and champion organizational IT functional requirements through the appropriate organization.
    • Provide business process improvement as needed.
    • Manage/create/modify DCTC SharePoint sites and the processes they support.
    • Serve as an informal IT Help Desk to aid/help facilitate resolution of internal customer IT issues with the appropriate group.
    • Facilitate internal and external customer support for DCTC systems (e.g., problems, account access, requests for information, etc.).
    • Manage organizational distribution lists, shared groups/calendars, and shared drives.
    • Perform Data Transfer Officer (DTO) duties; complete Government-provided DTO training to assume duties.
    • Support the DCTC annual CT conference.
    • Coordinates Senior Leader travel and files travel vouchers in the Defense Travel System (DTS). Resolves any charge disputes promptly and accurately. Assists staff with DTS travel authorization/voucher questions.
    • Tracks all Civilian and Military Temporary Duty (TDY) for personnel management and to ensure spending is within allocated budget.
    • Responsible for assisting with the in- and out-processing of new/departing personnel

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Possess a current TS/SCI with poly.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
    • 7 years of experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
    • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of terrorist organizations, to include group names and geographic location, leadership, activities, and ideology
