• Friday 8a 4:30p or 9a 5:30p_* _$19 $23 __*(Based on experience & skill)*_* _Train for 2 weeks onsite then goes fully remote (training in College Park or Circle 75)_* _*Must have (2) years of experience in an Ambulatory Surgery setting*_* _*We prefer Athena EMR experience*_* _*Orthopedic experience is a PLUS*__*Self-Pay Collector/Patient Account Rep ASC/Orthopedic*_ *Job Overview *Candidate would follow up on outstanding balances due from the patient after Insurance_*Self-Pay Collector/Patient Account Rep ASC/Orthopedic*_ *Responsibilities and Duties *Collect outstanding patient balancesUnderstand payer EOB's and plan benefitsSet up payment plans_*Self-Pay Collector/Patient Account Rep ASC/Orthopedic *_*Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities *To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required._*Self-Pay Collector/Patient Account Rep ASC/Orthopedic*_ *Education and Experience *High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Minimum3- 5 years of medical billing and account follow up experience.
Knowledge of physician billing and /or collections. Typing speed 55 wpm and the ability to use a calculator.
