    Overview:

    This job is perfect for those that thrive in a team environment, have a passion for helping others, strong communication skills, and are willing to go above and beyond for our customers They will organize meal packing events, manage warehouse, engage food pantries, and assist with growth of volunteer base.

    Responsibilities of the Role:

    • Coordinate and manage packaging events independently and as a team.
    • Communicate, present, facilitate, speak, and listen to volunteers and clients.
    • Promote, schedule, and coordinate volunteers for our events.
    • Work with sales team and customers to understand the needs and expectations to ensure satisfaction.
    • Maintain a safe work environment and productive work environment to exceed customer expectations.
    • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and easily accessible for onsite pack events and volunteers.
    • Comfortable driving a 26 box truck and handling movement of pallets on and off trucks both manually and with the use of site equipment.
    • Engagement of Food Pantries in distribution of food and other opportunities.
    • Keep the team informed of changes as well as contribute suggestions for improvements.
    • Some travel required (Indiana)
    • Perform other job duties as assigned.

    • Self-motivated with ability to work under limited supervision.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, listening, and public speaking skills.
    • Reliable, dependable, and able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
    • Ability to lift a minimum of 25-50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift as lifting large bags of ingredients and moving pallets will be necessary.
    • Flexible work schedule due to changing operational needs. Some nights and weekends.
    • Intermediate PC/MS Office skills, including email, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, graphs, etc.
    • Bachelors degree strongly preferred.
