    Description

    Job Responsibilities

  • Lead VisionWorks deployments, new installations, upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting.
  • Work with customers to optimize the performance of their VisionWorks solution.
  • Engage with customers to understand and capture requirements.
  • Foster relationships and collaboration with clients to establish Spirent's leadership in meeting complex customer service assurance requirements.
  • Support the business through collaboration with product management on proposals, statements of work, and other key documentation.
  • Work closely with clients, partners, other architects, and project managers to deliver scalable, reusable, and well-documented solutions.
  • Represent Spirent in customer-facing meetings.
  • Maintain technical proficiency in Spirent solutions and testing techniques.

    • Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related technical field, from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 12+ years of experience in telecommunications network design or deployment.
  • Minimum of 5 years working with Tier 1 and 2 carriers and MSOs.
  • Direct experience deploying, using, and debugging Spirent VisionWorks solutions preferred.
  • Protocols and Standards: IP, Ethernet, Routing & MPLS.
  • Specialist in network Service Assurance and/or network performance management systems
  • Understanding of existing and future 3GPP/3GPP2 network architectures, 5G core architecture, nodes, and interfaces.
  • Knowledge of wireless network nodes such as: X-CSCF, PCRF, HSS, AAA, SGSN, GGSN, MME, P-GW, S-GW, Home Agent, WAP Gateway, DPI Solutions and Billing systems, IPv4, IPv6, Proxy Mobile IP, GTP, Iu, Gb, Radius, Diameter.
  • Direct experience with LTE and IMS functional elements and technologies.
  • Protocols and Standards: IP, Ethernet, Routing & MPLS.
  • Experience using protocol communications test equipment and tools (protocol analyzers, LTE/5G system simulators, analyzers, and packet sniffers).
  • Strong networking background, specifically in carrier networks and services.
  • Solid experience working with Tier 1 and 2 carriers, NEMS, and MSOs.
  • Proven ability to manage simultaneous projects and tasks.
  • Must have excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, including creating methods of procedures (MOP) as required.
  • Self-motivated with a track record for completing projects on time.
  • Excellent communication, client relationship management & interpersonal skills.

    • Annualized Salary Wage Range: $133,000 - $163,100

    Spirent applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience at or in line with the minimum requirements.
