    Job Summary:


    As a Fixed Asset and Property Accountant, you'll be responsible for maintaining precise records of fixed assets, overseeing property-level accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Record and track fixed assets, including acquisitions, depreciation, disposal, and impairment.
    Reconcile fixed asset sub-ledger to general ledger accounts regularly.
    Collaborate with property management teams to review capital expenditures and leasehold improvements.
    Prepare financial reports related to fixed assets, including depreciation schedules and variance analysis.
    Assist in developing and implementing fixed asset policies and internal controls.
    Support audits, reviews, and tax filings related to fixed assets and property accounting.
    Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.
    Contribute to special projects aimed at optimizing asset management processes and enhancing financial reporting capabilities.
    Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and vendors.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or advanced degree preferred.

    Minimum of 3 years of experience in fixed asset accounting and property accounting, preferably in commercial real estate or REIT industry.

    Strong understanding of accounting principles related to fixed assets (e.g., ASC 360) and property accounting standards (e.g., NCREIF).
    Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI) and Microsoft 365 Products.
    Excellent analytical skills; experience with PowerBI is a plus.
    Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
    Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.


    Education and Experience:
    Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
    Three to five years of accounting experience required.
