    Primary Responsibilities


    The primary duties of the Geotechnical EIT are to support the geotechnical group by providing coordination and oversight of field investigations, execution of technical analyses, and development of reports under the oversight of a licensed Geotechnical Engineer.

    Candidates w ill have the ability to quickly become familiar with geotechnical investigation techniques and design activities for transportation projects including bridge foundations , embankments, cuts, subgrades, pavements, retaining walls, and ground improvement.

    Candidates will communicate primarily with internal HDR staff on assignments but must also be comfortable interacting with HDRs e xternal clients as a secondary point of contact .


    A Geotechnical EIT candidates traits include organizing, coordinating , and executing field exploration efforts, geotechnical analyses, and development of geotechnical reporting documents.

    Typically requires an EIT designation.

    This individual is required to exhibit excellent communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with team members , and a demonstrated willingness to learn.

    Will be responsible for working directly with members of HDRs geotechnical team to complete assigned work. The successful candidate will have an attitude and commitment to being an active participant of HDRs employee-owned culture .
