    Description:

    We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist ARRT to join our team at Corpus Christi Medical Center. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients.

    Responsibilities:

    • Obtain quality diagnostic images using various imaging modalities, including routine diagnostic x-rays, portable x-rays, and fluoroscopy.
    • Scan patient labels and document imaging results accurately.
    • Resolve Quality Assurance (QA) issues in a timely manner to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
    • Release images to radiologists promptly to facilitate timely diagnoses and treatment plans.
    • Verify that orders are valid and entered correctly to avoid delays or errors.
    • Transport patients as needed to ensure their comfort and safety during the imaging process.

    Requirements:

    • Graduate of an accredited or registered School of Radiology.
    • Current registration with A.R.R.T. (R).
    • Current certification with the Texas Department of Health (CMRT).
    • American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification.
    • Prior experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
