- Accurately record patient information
- Foster continuity and quality of care with the best interest and well-being of patients and their families in mind
- Accurately and completely chart patient results, medications, and activities related to patient interactions and provider instructions
- Complete medical orders and communicate pertinent information to patient.
- Manage telephone communication including patient advice/instruction, addressing prescription requests/questions and assisting patient needs and document actions appropriately.
- Provide appropriate education of patient and/or family based on condition/diagnosis.
- Assist with housekeeping duties and clinic needs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Able to multi-task and work quickly, with constantly changing circumstances and priorities
- Ability to convey or exchange complex information
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be willing to travel to Outreach Clinics
- Registered Nurse with current WY RN license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a GI Clinic, Surgery Center or Critical Care setting highly preferred
- Proficiency in MS Excel, electronic health systems and databases, such as gMed, required
- Knowledge of GCP, federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA policies and procedures.
