TheDowdy Multicultural Centerresides in theDivision for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), which includes 4 campus community centers (Dowdy Multicultural Center, Center for Women and Gender Equity, Center for Trans and Queer Advocacy, and the Veterans Center), the Office for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and the Frederick Douglass Institute.

The director for the DMC reports to the Vice President for DEI.
