MRI Technologist Job Description

Backus Hospital is actively hiring MRI Technologists to join their dynamic team in Norwich, Connecticut. We are expanding our state-of-the-art suite where you'll be working on a GE Hero 3.0T and GE Artist 1.5T magnet.

Responsibilities:

Perform MRI exams by selecting software parameters according to established protocols.
Prepare and position patients for exams.
Inject contrast media into patients as needed.

Educational requirement: Graduate of an accredited Radiography program (ARRT) or ARM RIT with an Associate Degree in medical image preferably MRI.

Certification requirements: ARRT certification in Radiography OR ARRT MRI or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT).
