    Description


    A dynamic and innovative company in the education sector is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to join their team in Herndon, VA.

    The company operates on a bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll schedule, and during off-payroll weeks, the team focuses on developing and refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

    Currently, this organization is embarking on a massive automation and artificial intelligence project and is looking for a quick-learner to contribute their ideas to the initiative.

    Daily, this person will process daily reports like new hires, termination, address changes, etc., in addition to a variety of other payroll related tasks.

    This group is highly collaborative, members will be cross-functional with T&E, AP, tax, and HR teams. All members of this group operate in a streamlining atmosphere with the goal to modernize the company's payroll structure.

    2-4 Years as a Payroll Analyst


    Proficient in Microsoft Excel:
    Pivot Tables, V LOOKUPS

    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.

    Strong analytical skills and attentional to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.

    Experience developing or improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
