Job summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Transformer Field Assembly Technician to join our field operations team.This role involves the assembly, installation, inspection, testing and commissioning of medium and high voltage power transformers at customer sites.
The ideal candidate possesses strong mechanical aptitude hands-on field assembly experience and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively under field conditions.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with transformer core coil assembly gasket installation bolt torquing procedures and bushing handling.
- Basic understanding of electrical safety practices standards (e.g., NFPA 70E IEEE standards).
- Ability to read technical documentation interpret complex diagrams manuals.
