Description

Location: Stone and Web, located inside the Switch House Hotel

Position Overview: Stone and Web, a premier lobby bar and restaurant located at the Switch House Hotel within Cescaphe Event Group, is seeking experienced and customer-oriented Servers to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing attentive and efficient service to our guests, ensuring they have an enjoyable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, escorting them to their tables and presenting menus.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are communicated to the kitchen staff.
• Provide recommendations on menu items, including food and beverage pairings, and answer any questions guests may have about the menu.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, using proper serving techniques and adhering to quality standards.
• Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction, addressing any concerns or special requests promptly.
• Anticipate guests' needs and proactively offer refills, condiments, or additional items to enhance their dining experience.
• Process payments accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and electronic transactions with proficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including resetting tables, restocking supplies, and assisting with cleaning duties as needed.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service operations.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Server in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing demeanor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
