Job Responsibilities- Perform regular maintenance and repair of tooling and dies to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and modifications, using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)- Perform welding, grinding, operate cranes, machining, & fabrication operations- Assist with the installation and setup of new tooling and dies, ensuring proper functionality and alignment with production requirements- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with tooling and dies, implementing effective solutions to prevent production delaysJob RequirementsDetails:
Job Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent- 5+ years of experience as a Tool and Die Technician in a manufacturing industry- Proficiency in building and/or maintaining high-volume casting or stamping dies, including welding ability and experience in machining techniques- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with tooling and dies- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
