    Summary

    City Market Co-Op is seeking a Wellness Shift Coordinator with customer service or retail experience for this exciting opportunity


    As a Wellness Shift Coordinator, you will coordinate the work of the Wellness team during your scheduled shift by prioritizing and directing the activities of the Wellness Stockers.

    The Coordinator also learns the basic mechanics of buying to purchase products in the absence of the Wellness Buyer and participates in routine department tasks such as training Wellness Stockers as well as stocking, rotation, cleaning, customer service, and quality control.

    Day-to-Day Duties


    • Prioritize and assign tasks to Wellness Stockers, maintain shift logs and regular communication amongst the team.
    • Work with the Wellness Buyer to communicate and expedite day-to-day tasks and other duties as assigned by the Wellness Manager.
    • Utilize responsible and informative companion selling techniques.
    • Help train Wellness Stockers.
    • Stock displays, rotate products, maintain quality control.
    • Keep department and equipment in working order, including cleaning, organizing shelves, rotating stock, and accurate labeling of items.
    • Assisting other stockers, customers and staff as needed.
    • Compliance with established City Market procedures and practices regarding operations, sales, safety, and security.
    • May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.
    Qualifications


    • One year of wellness-specific experience OR two years of supervisory or retail experience required.
    • High School diploma or GED preferred.
    • Knowledge of natural and conventional foods and the food industry helpful.
