    Kindred Hospital - Clear Lake, located at 350 Blossom Street in Webster, Texas, is a long-term acute care hospital that specializes in treating patients with medically complex conditions who need extended recovery time.

    Highlights:

    • Advanced Critical Care: Offers both intensive care and telemetry-level services for patients recovering from serious conditions like respiratory failure, sepsis, stroke, and complex wounds.
    • Specialized Treatments: Many patients require ventilators, dialysis, or IV therapy, and the hospital is equipped to manage these needs with a multidisciplinary team approach.

    • Certifications: Accredited by The Joint Commission for Long-Term Acute Care, with additional disease-specific certifications in Respiratory Failure and Sepsis, reflecting a commitment to evidence-based care and continuous improvement.

    How you'll contribute:

    • Evaluates and treats patient populations for swallowing, speech-language and therapy needs.

    • Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.

    • Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family.

    • Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.

    • Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services.

    • Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.

    Qualifications and requirements:

    • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology Required

    • Licensed Speech Therapist; Current licensure with State Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology

    • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire
