Betts Drilling is positioned for continued growth in our operating regions as well as opportunities for growth in new markets and regions. We are seeking a Regional manager to join our growing team, that is interested in supporting current growth and implementing strategy to drive new growth.
Position Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Manager to oversee operations at our Fort Worth branch. Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the environmental drilling & remediation, mining exploration, and geotechnical drilling industries or a relatable field/industry (i.e. Env. Consulting, Drilling vendor/supply, Mining Management, etc.). The Regional Manager will be responsible for working with our Business Development team, managing region profitability, and ensuring operational excellence within Texas and the surrounding region. This is a leadership role that requires strong strategic planning, project management, leadership, and supervisory skills.
The Southwest Regional Manager contributes to company growth by nurturing client relationships across Betts' service suite. The Southwest Regional Manager leads business development activities in their geographic region targeting both new and lapsed clients via in-person and digital communications. This position is supported by Betts Drilling's entire management team: field operations, business development, master drilling experts, and administrative team. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and drive growth within the region
Collaborate with Texas Office Manager, Texas Operations Manager, and appropriate Project Manager's to ensure Texas Region Client's project needs and office/shop facilities needs are being met
Collaborate with corporate accounting to manage profit and loss for the region, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Provide leadership and guidance to a team of managers and employees across assigned region
Monitor and evaluate performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement process improvement initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent delivery of products/services and adherence to company standards
Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, employee engagement, and professional development
Collaborate with Business Development team to coordinate sales activities within the region, including business growth, customer relationship management, and achievement of sales targets
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, QA/QC, and State/Federal regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a similar management role
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Understanding of various financial statements, reports, and business practices
Ability to drive business growth through strategic planning and execution
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions based on data analysis
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, QuickBooks, & Adobe
