    Chipton-Ross is seeking a Data Security Admin Analyst 1 for a contract opportunity in Newport News, VA.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Plans, designs, and enforces security policies and procedures which safeguard the integrity of and access to enterprise systems, files, and data elements.

    Identifies potential areas where existing data security policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, especially regarding future business expansion.

    Provides risk assessments and security briefings to management and advises them of critical issues that may affect customer or corporate security objectives.

    Evaluates and recommends security products, services, and/or procedures to enhance productivity and effectiveness.


    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
    Bachelor's Degree and 0 years of experience. 4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree. 8 years of non-related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree. 12 years of relevant non-exempt, Manufacturing, Military, Shipbuilding or Trades experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree.
    Experience with Tenable products, configuring and maintaining vulnerability scanning systems and infrastructure. Troubleshooting scan performance and methodologies to ensure the highest quality of vulnerability discovery.

    • Motivated self starter capable of doing analysis of system logs and vulnerability data, research solutions, socialize required action and drive issue to resolution.
    • Must perform expected task in a timely manner, provide leadership with routine task updates and clearly and expeditiously communicate any complications to task success.
    • Experience with scripting in PowerShell, Python, Unix command line.

    EDUCATION:
    Bachelor's Degree is required.
    School must be accredited.


    HOURS:
    5/40 workweek.

    7:30AM to 4PM. 1st shift.
