- Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software
- Resolve issues for staff via phone, in person or electronically
- Perform hardware and software installations, configurations and updates as needed
- Resolve technical issues in a timely manner using available resources within the company
- Act as liaison to outsourced IT consultant
- Assist IT Manager with purchasing
- Configure Autodesk Civil 3D and Carlson software for technical and field staff
- Management company devices including smartphones, tablets and laptops
- Assist field personnel with remote data transmission and devices
- Assist in daily and monthly data backup protocol
- Assist with server expansion, data archiving and directory organization as necessary
- Maintain log of all devices, software and licenses
- Assist with all software installs, cloud access, etc.
- Assist with all communication protocol including email, videoconferencing and webinar
- Establish remote connection for off-site events
- Ability to interact with all levels of staff
- Dependable and detail oriented
- Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills
- 3 years experience in IT support
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related technology field a plus

DESCRIPTION: Due to our continued growth, Hancock Associates is looking for an IT Support Specialist to provide technical support for all of our locations. This position will be based on our Marlborough, MA office with some travel to regional offices as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS: We are looking for an ambitious IT expert to help maintain our computer systems, both hardware and software, and other peripheral equipment to ensure optimal performance so that end users can maintain a high level of productivity.
