Job summary
The Visitor Services Assistant (VSA) is responsible for facilitating daily Visitor Services at the McGivney Center ensuring the visitor experience is consistently outstanding VSAs are tasked with engaging with the public in order to provide an educational safe and memorable experience.Responsibilities
- Provides professional efficient and approachable support and excellent customer service Welcomes visitors upon arrival orients them to the McGivney Center and informs them of exhibits and activities available Responds to visitor questions or requests Alerts security staff of emergencies or public safety concerns Reports concerns problems or visitor issues in a prompt efficient manner Facilitates video and interactive presentations when required Conducts in-person tours and offsite or online virtual presentations pertaining to McGivney Center exhibits Coordinates cooperates with Knights of Columbus employees and contracted staff to ensure smooth visitor operations good visitor experience Assists with special events performs other duties as may reasonably be required Serves as back up Gift Shop Manager.
