    Job Description:


    The Data engineer is responsible for sourcing data to manipulate and transform the harvested data into a format that supports analysis.

    A preferred tool would be Elastic Stack, to include Elastic Searches, Kibana and Log Stash.

    Familiarity with this suite of tools will be used to gather, parse information from Log Files and visualize is required.


    Experience & Education:

    Bachelor's degree or above in IT, computer science and related fields.


    Qualifications:

    10+ years related experience.


    Security Clearance:

    U.S. Citizen and possess appropriate level DoD security clearance.


    Skill Set or Certifications:

    A strong background in Data Collection, Reduction Analysis and visualization is preferred. Specific experience desired with the programing language used for automation, application development and data manipulation. Pandas must be used as the source for extensive Python Libraries. NiFi experience would be desired. Additionally, experience with Tactical Mission Command and Communications Systems is a plus.


    General Expectations

    Ability to effectively manage data and all related security.

    Experience in and ability to read code as related to the above areas of expertise.
