As a Security Officer - Badge Verification Desk in Kennesaw, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
Control access at gates and/or entry points by checking identification and credentials, managing visitor and contractor sign-in, issuing temporary badges when authorized, and directing drivers, visitors, and associates to the proper areas.
Monitor inbound and outbound traffic such as employee vehicles, delivery trucks, and trailers by verifying appointments, seals, and documentation as required by site policy, and reporting irregularities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing security-related reports and escalating concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas such as entrances, parking lots, dock doors, and the perimeter, noting security-related conditions and communicating findings per post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of security experience.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
