- Ensure the maintenance of departmental operations to achieve compliance with contract requirements, accreditation, licensing and monitoring standards.

- Demonstrate and maintain professional, respectful, productive working relationships with all agency departments, staff, board members, funding sources, individuals receiving services, families utilizing or enquiring about services, funding sources and the community.
- Engage members and establish trusting, collaborative relationships directed toward the goal of competitive employment in community job settings. Jobs that are "not" designated for people with disabilities.
- Carry a caseload of 25 or more dependent on the composition of number Job Searching/Job Coaching.
- Assist members in obtaining individualized information about how entitlements (e.g., SSI, SSDI, Medicaid, EBT, etc.) will be affected by employment so members can make informed decisions about employment opportunities. This includes utilizing the DB101 website and interpreting session results accurately. Refer members to Ticket to Work if they choose.
- Work with members to complete a Career Interest Profile via O*Net to evaluate areas of interest.
- Complete a Vocational Profile to obtain member's past work history and current employment goals.
- Discuss member's preference for disclosure of mental health status to employers.
- Conduct job development and job search activities directed toward positions that are individualized to the interests and uniqueness of the members on his/her caseload following the principles and procedures of Copa Health's Supported Employment Program.
- Attend weekly Clinical Team Meetings to provide updates on members and coordinate and integrate vocational services along with mental health treatment.
- Provide individualized follow-along supports to assist members in maintaining employment.
- May negotiate job accommodations and follow-along contact with the employer as agreed upon by members.
- Provide timely interventions. Returns phone calls and react to situations in a timely manner. For example, returns member phone calls within 24 hours. Meet with job searching members weekly or more if it can be accommodated.
- Meet weekly with members who have obtained employment for the first 30 days, then taper down but to no less than monthly meetings until member is able to build up natural supports, maintain employment on their own and has requested closure.
- Provide 20+ hours of billable services to members weekly (face-to-face, telehealth via Zoom or telephone calls.)
- Document daily progress notes, clinical team meeting notes, contact notes, no-bill notes, monthly summaries and/or incident reports as needed, meeting required timelines and due dates.
- Provide assistance and coverage during staff shortages as needed.
- Attend meetings and actively participate in internal and external committees. Perform special projects and committee tasks when applicable.
- Demonstrate knowledge of modern principles, methods and techniques of administration and program planning and implementation. Demonstrate ability to develop and revise departmental systems. Maintain knowledge of resources that serve individuals with disabilities. Demonstrate knowledge of funding sources.
- Demonstrate ability to recognize and support the organization's preferences and priorities as related to the mission statement.
- Work cooperatively with applicable staff and interdepartmentally.
- Spend 70% of time out in the community, working directly with members, conducting industry research and/or outreaching employers on the members' behalf.
- To ensure compliance & adequate services, additional job duties may be required to meet the needs of the program and or department, consistent with Copa Health productivity levels
- Requires a high school diploma or GED (General Equivalency Diploma).
- Prefer a bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum of one-year experience in the field of rehabilitation or two years' experience working with individuals with mental, developmental and/or physical disabilities (which may include life experience providing care for a family member with disabilities.
- Satisfactory work record as determined by the People First/Human Resources Department
- Successful completion of Copa's training program.
- Must have a fingerprint clearance card issued by the AZ Department of Public Safety or be eligible to receive one within eight (8) weeks of hire.
- Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.
- TB Test clearance required at the time of hire and annually.
