- National certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- 5 years of cardiac ultrasound experience
- BLS certification
- Experience performing transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms
- Comfortable starting IVs and administering Definity contrast
- Familiarity with Philips EPIQ ultrasound systems and Epic EMR preferred

- Expected daily volume: up to 7 full echocardiograms and 1 limited echocardiogram
