    Role Description

    This is a full-time hybrid role for an Employee Benefits Account Manager at Marc Jacobson & Associates. The Employee Benefits Account Manager will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to managing employee benefits packages for clients. This includes evaluating and recommending insurance options, assisting with retirement planning, and providing ongoing support and guidance to clients. The role is primarily based in Northbrook, IL, with flexibility for some remote work.

    Qualifications

    • 3-4 Years of experience with employee benefits programs and insurance options
    • Active Life & Health License
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Experience with insurance software and CRM systems such as EASE or employee navigator
    • Insurance industry certifications (e.g., Life and Health licenses) are a plus
    • Initiate and manage all activities related to implementing a new carrier which may include contract review, implementation meetings/calls, etc...
    • Strong Excel Skills
    • Experience placing, servicing, marketing groups 2-99 lives
