- Coordinate with project team members, subconsultants/subcontractors and clients.
- Observe and document complex foundation and slope repair construction activities.
- Collect, interpret, and analyze field and soil laboratory data.
- Prepare geotechnical reports, design plans, cost estimates, specifications, and other deliverables.
- Assist with project management tasks, including developing proposals, budgets and attending meetings.
- 0 - 3 years' experience with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering (geotechnical focus is preferred).
- 0 - 3 years' experience with a Master's Degree in civil engineering (geotechnical focus) is preferred.
- Successfully passed the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination or able to take exam within 1 year of hire.
- Previous field subsurface evaluation field experience (i.e., soil boring and test pit observations) is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills combined with the flexibility to work with shifting priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and technical understanding is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work well as a team member, with a collaborative communication style.
- Full-time position.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday with flexible daily hours as project work schedule permits.
- Hybrid work arrangement is negotiable.
- Located in Burlington, Vermont.
- Local travel within the New England area (including extended stays) is required.
- Some night and weekend work may be required.
