Technology Director

Beginning School Year

POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The District Technology Director shall provide vision and leadership to the District's technologies to improve

student achievement by building capacity and implementing fully integrated technology, to support engaging

learning practices within the curriculum while providing and supporting systems and services that include technical

support, web services, application development, technical infrastructure, hardware, systems management, networks,

communication, security and data systems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree with teaching experience preferred.

2. 3+ years experience in Educational Technology with experience in a leadership role.

3.. Core understanding of IT services, technology infrastructure, IT Security, Student Information System (SIS)

Databases, Compliance with State and Federal Reporting requirements.

Experience with grant writing and E-Rate funding a plus.

This position has vast responsibilities but is a very unique opportunity. You are not expected to know this job on

day one. You will work an entire year under the current Director of Technology. You will be expected to rapidly

learn the job as you work closely with a direct supervisor.
