Health Fitness Concepts RN, LLC (HFC) has been providing best-in-class wellness services and lifestyle education programs through its team of health professionals since 1985. Recently HFC became the Northeast Division of Integrated Health 21 (IH21), a leading provider of worksite wellness screenings and vaccination clinics across the United States and headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA. IH21 partners with employers and insurance companies to customize health and wellness events with the goal of improving the well-being of their employees and insured.

We are increasing our Registered Nurse staff licensed in New York to take part in vaccination clinics and wellness events at various client sites in Westchester, Queens, Bronx, Brooklyn, and Manhattan.

This is a PRN, as-needed position, and our events typically take place during business hours on weekdays.

Responsibilities

• Accept delivery of vaccination supplies and prepare for event
• Provide excellent customer service at all health screening events
• Administer flu shots following manufacturer guidelines with little to no waste of vaccine
• Present oneself as a professional in skills and presence at client locations
• Educate participants regarding vaccination process and possible adverse reactions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Understand and comply with applicable federal, state, and local requirements
• Maintain all HIPAA and OSHA standards
• Travel is required to screening event locations

Qualifications

• Current New York state licensure for RN
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver license and reliable insured transportation
• Requires ability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds regularly
• Must be able to stand for up to 6 hours
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Familiar with infection control policies and procedures
